Service Charges for Transfers and Storage:
*Long Guns/Handguns/Receivers: $30.00 per item or 2% of the item’s value, whichever is greater.
*Silencers/Suppressors: $75.00 per item or 2% of the item’s value, whichever is greater.
*MG/SBS/SBR/ISR/AOW: $100.00 per item or 2% of the item’s value, whichever is greater.
Once your transfer is ready, you will be notified by Bobcat Armament. Items not picked up within 15 calendar days of notification will incur a daily storage fee of $1.00 per item, starting on the 16th day. Transfers will not be completed until all applicable storage fees are paid. After 90 days, unclaimed items will be considered abandoned property unless prior arrangements have been made (see Abandoned Product/Product Ownership section below).

Guidelines for Firearm Transfers:
1.) Notify the Shipping Dealer: Inform the shipping dealer that you wish to have your firearm transferred through Bobcat Armament. If the dealer requires a copy of our FFL license, they can request one by emailing FFL@bobcatarmament.com.
2.) Wait for Contact: Once your firearm arrives and is entered into our records, we will contact you. Please do not assume the item is ready for pickup based on the shipping carrier's delivery status. Depending on business volume, it may take up to 72 hours for your firearm to be processed and checked in.

Picking Up Your Firearm:
*In-Person Pickup: Once you’ve been contacted by Bobcat Armament, please visit our shop in person at your earliest convenience.
*Age Requirements: You must be at least 18 years old to receive long guns and at least 21 years old to receive handguns or other firearms (including receivers/frames). Firearms will only be transferred to the person named on the shipper's invoice.
*Identification: Transferees must present a valid, government-issued ID (Driver’s License, Military Transit Papers, Passport, etc.). The ID must be legible, unaltered, not expired, and contain your current address.
*ATF Form 4473: You will be required to complete, sign, and date an ATF Form 4473 to initiate the federal background check.

NICS Background Check Process:
*Proceed: If the background check returns a “PROCEED” status, your firearm will be released to you once the transfer fee(s) are paid.
*Delayed: If the background check is “DELAYED,” Bobcat Armament will notify you once a final response is received from NICS. If no response is received by the NICS-supplied Brady Date, you may pick up your firearm after that date. If you are under 21, expect an additional 10-day delay due to recent laws.
*Denied: If the background check is “DENIED,” the firearm will not be transferred. Transfer fee(s) still apply, and Bobcat Armament is not responsible for returns, refunds, or return shipping. However, we can facilitate the return of the item to the seller once terms have been agreed upon.

Abandoned Product/Product Ownership:
Bobcat Armament will make reasonable attempts to contact the transferee once a firearm is received. If the product is not claimed or alternate arrangements are not made within 30 calendar days, or if the product cannot be transferred due to NICS delay/denial, Bobcat Armament may ship the product back to the sender via COD. The COD amount will include transfer fee(s), reshipping fee(s), and handling fee(s) – minimum $50.00 per item. If the sender does not accept the package, refuses to pay the COD amount, or the package is returned, the product will become property of Bobcat Armament after 90 days from the original receipt date. The transferee will not receive payment for the product’s value, and Bobcat Armament will assume ownership and may dispose of the product at its discretion.
